1.      Why is this person important?

Gianni Versace created the Italian clothing business known as Versace in 1978. It is now headed by Donatella Versace, with Santo Versace as CEO. As one of the world's leading international fashion houses, Versace designs, markets and distributes luxury clothing, accessories, fragrances, makeup and home furnishings.

2.      Why did you choose this person? How does her/his life relate to you?

I chose Gianni Versace because I love Italian fashion. I love that no matter what they wear, they wear it with confidence and they always look chic.

3.      If she/he had never existed, would the world be different from how we know it now? Why?

If Gianni Versace never existed, fashion as we know it would be a completely different business  Versace set the tone for a lot of fashion marketing. If Gianna had never started creating fashion, who knows what Italy, let alone the world would be dressed in!

4.      If you could meet that person, what would you ask her/him?

If I could meet Gianna Versace I would ask him to create a custom line of clothing for me. I would also ask him how he began his work. I think a lot of people are afraid to pursue their dreams, especially in fashion becuse it is such a hard industry to get into. 

5.      Do you think the fact this person was Italian played a role in his/her achievement?

Yes I believe that because Gianni Versace was italian it played a large role in who bought his merchandise and how large his industry grew to be.
